Registry Records After Release
Some released offenders must register after release into the community. Alamosa County's sheriff page states that all sex offenders must register annually and that a sex offender moving into or within the state must register with the Sheriff's Department within five business days. CBI's registry information page says sex offenders must register during business hours within five business days of being released into the community or receiving notice to register. If released from DOC with no supervision, the person must register the next business day.
This registry can help confirm post-release registration status for qualifying offenses. It does not confirm every jail release, every criminal case, or every supervision status.
How to Use the Registry Carefully
Use the CBI public registry search when the offense category and registration requirement make it relevant. Compare identifiers carefully and read the registry agreement and limitations. CBI warns that qualifying records may not all appear online at a given moment and that accuracy questions should go to CBI's Program Support Unit.
If the person was just released from Alamosa County Jail, use jail, court, VINE, probation, CDOC, BOP, USMS, or ICE channels first depending on custody type. The registry is a compliance record after release, not the primary release event record.

About the Registry
CBI registry records can include public registration information and sometimes a photo or status for qualifying registrants. They are not a universal mugshot gallery and should not be used as a substitute for a jail booking/release record. Annual, quarterly, transient, and next-business-day registration duties vary by status and statutory category.
Public Access Limits
