Alamosa County records requests must be written on the official form and sent to the official custodian. The county's CORA and CCJRA policy lists mail or fax as accepted submission methods, with email accepted only if the custodian confirms it. Normal response time is three working days after receipt, with a possible seven-working-day extension for extenuating circumstances. Standard copies or digital images are listed at 25 cents, non-standard formats can be charged at actual duplication cost, and research or retrieval time may be billed after the first free hour.
